Chiropractic | Jean Thompson is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in Maryland and Pennsylvania. She graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998 with a D.C. degree and Susquehanna University in 1995 with a BS in Biology. Dr. Thompson is not a veterinarian. She has extensive training in animal chiropractic through Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. She is also certified by the IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Organization). Dr. Thompson continues to be amazed at the results of animal chiropractic. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. All animals must be under the care of a veterinarian that Dr. Thompson will work closely with. She treats mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Thompson’s love and dedication to Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), a specialized chiropractic technique, has transferred to animals as well. She is an instructor at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic and teaches the Advanced SOT class. She has also presented animal chiropractic research to Sacro Occipital Technique Organization (SOTO).
